Estes Group started in 2023 to bring in-house recruiting support to companies who need it most. We started with offering our recruiting expertise, and it led us to become embedded recruiters.

I'm Kaylee, Founder of Estes Group and mom of three. I started my career at a traditional staffing firm and then spent 5 years as a Head of Talent Acquisition for two hyper-growth startups in Atlanta. I love helping people find a new job, and I love playing a part in the growth story of a company.
Outside of work, I live in Atlanta with my husband, three kids, and two dogs (Birdie & Belle). You can find me in our garden attempting to grow tomatoes, going for a run by the river, and currently learning how to play Mahjong (my teen would say this is cringe).

I’m a recruiting and HR leader with experience building teams and people functions at high-growth startups. I started my career in staffing before moving in-house, as the first internal recruiter at a Series A startup. I later served as an HR Business Partner at a Series E startup, partnering with leadership on talent and people strategy.
I’m based in Charleston, SC, where I live with my husband, daughter, and Goldendoodle, Murphy. Outside of recruiting, I’m a fitness instructor and love being part of Charleston’s vibrant community.

I started my recruiting career in the Atlanta tech scene, where I've had the opportunity to work across a wide range of industries and support numerous organizations along the way. My husband and I have since moved back home to the Florida Panhandle, where we spend our free time on the water with our two young girls.
My favorite hobby is gardening. I am also really into hydroponics and have my own hydroponic gardening system!

When should I hire an embedded recruiter?
It’s time to hire an embedded recruiter when hiring has become a steady part of your week but you can't afford a full-time, in-house recruiting team. Common triggers are scaling after a fundraise, opening several roles at once, or losing your internal recruiter and needing coverage fast.
How quickly can an embedded recruiter start?
Most of our embedded recruiters can start within two weeks of signing an agreement. Because we place recruiters we already know, there's no long search on our end, we match you to the right person and get them into your tools and team quickly.
Will we interview the recruiter before they start?
Yes, you'll meet and approve your recruiter before they begin. This is someone joining your team day to day, so it’s important that you work well together. If the first match isn't right, we'll introduce you to another.
What happens if the embedded recruiter isn't a good fit?
When you work with Estes Group, you are always paired with both a recruiter and client success manager. This ensures that you're covered in all cases, including if your embedded recruiter isn't a great fit.
Do your recruiters work in our ATS and systems?
Your Estes Group embedded recruiter works directly in your ATS, your tools, and your systems. They operate as part of your team rather than from a separate agency platform. If your team hasn't invested in sourcing tools, we can bring our own to each engagement.
Do Estes Group recruiters work with our applicants and referrals?
We manage your inbound applicants and referrals right alongside the candidates we source. You get one recruiter running your whole pipeline, so no strong candidate slips through, whether they came from a job board, a referral, or our outreach.
Have you worked with the recruiter you'd place with us before?
Yes, we place recruiters we know and have worked with. We know how they work, and we match them with your team’s stage and work style.
